Programmes & Campaigns
Child-to-Child Health Programme
We have set up more than 40 Health Centres in schools, where children get the education and health kits to cut their nails, clean their ears, wash their hair and treat wounds or burns.
Cultural Programme
In our cultural programmes the children learn more about their culture through dancing, singing and poetry. But they also work on issues like rape, drugs and crime by creating and performing dramas on it.
Environment Programme
This programme consists of cleanup-campaigns where the children clean their schools or even whole areas for them to appreciate the environment more and to see that one has to get active to keep the nature as beautiful as it is.
The Childrens Movements Intergrated Children’s Community Project (ICCP) is the building blocks of our organisation
From OUR members
I have been part of the organisation for over 6 years. I love being part of it as I enjoy being surrounded by my fellow child members. It’s a great organisation and it has though me how to respect myself, others and my environment.
Caleb LewisI am 22 years of age I grew up in the Children’s Movement organization in KZN. Being in the organisation really helped and taught me and the other children who were raised there a lot. We lived by the Children’s Movement values (Respect Oneself, Respect Others, Respect the environment) and I am also part of the Girl Child Movement.
Noluthando SheziI have joined the organisation 8 years ago and it has made me a better person through our programmes and campaigns. I love being part of the movement as it shows me the right direction and teaches me a lot of good things
